Know what's not a good thing do to? Go flying off the balcony from the upstairs to the downstairs. I thought it would be a quick way to get down there, but the landing was very hard! Plus it makes the mom holler and I hate it when the mom hollers.
Our kitty at my parents' house did that when she was just a baby! And it's a split-level house so it's really almost a floor and a half. We were afraid she was hurt because she fell onto a hard floor, but she was just scared.
